John y Paul se conocieron el 6 de Julio de 1957, Ivan Vaughn un amigo mutuo invito a Paul a Woolton, ese dia habia una fiesta del pueblo. En un escenario en el fondo de la iglesia habia unos adolescentes interpretando numeros de rock 'n roll y skiffle, a Paul le llamo la atencion el cantante, que a pesar de no saber la letra de las canciones las inventaba sobre la marcha. Ese era nada mas que John Lennon. Interpretaron 5 ó 6 temas, muy poco se conoce de este concierto.
El tracklist estaba conformado por: Puttin on the style, Baby let's play the house, Be-bop-a-lula, Come go with me y hasta ahi se sabe. Hasta hace años habia unas pocas fotos de ese dia:
Se descubrieron en un album de fotos de el padre de Rod Davis (un Quarrymen) 2 nuevas fotos.
En esta ultima foto a John lo tapa su amigo Len, se puede ver la camisa a cuadros de el joven cantante.Bueno ahora si con ustedes
